Base material for Lead free soldering
The EU regulation 2002/95/EWG (RoHS) forbids the use
of lead in electronics and electrical devices as of June
2006. Especially the solder technology is affected by
this regulation.
Isola has early adapted to the new requirements and
assist actively the implementation of the lead free
soldering technique with a wide offer of base material.

DIN EN ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
Voluntary environmental, health and labor protection
at Isola
On May 18th, 2005 Isola once again obtained
certification within the frame of the environmental
management system DIN EN ISO 14001. Moreover and at the
same time, we have successfully demonstrated the
introduction of the healt and labor protection system
OHSAS 18001.

electronics is gaining more and more in importance. This
